I already sent a mail to Chris this morning - he's out the office until tomorrow. Let's hope he's kicking ass at the web developers ;-)). Here's what I sent: Hello Chris, I've seen that Radiotimes.com has come live again after a site revision. However, you may know that a number of PVR users (primar...

Alan, Do you still have a contact at RadioTimes?? I used to swap mail with Spencer, but he left sometime last year - I found out by an Auto Reply. I did try mailing the contact on his Auto Reply, but I didn't get an answer. This might be a good time to try to contact them to understand if they have ...

Sorry to follow up my own post - but some further investigation has yielded (what I think) is the problem. In the ITV4 file, 1961.dat positions 40D3 and 40D4 have a (presumably illegal) null character. This is causing XMLTV GUI to generate an xml file with a hiccup. I have copies of both the 1961.da...

Strange things with new version??

Hi Gary, After reports of strangeness on the Toppy forums, I've been doing some investigating. There's definitely something funny going on. Looking directly at the Radio Times site, I can see all the files, however XMLTV GUI is unable to connect. When it does connect, it's tripping over on ITV4. I k...

switch from GMT to BST

I'm noticing some funny handling of times over the moment of changeover Sunday morning. EG, direct checking of the Radio Times .dat file shows Narrow Margin starting at 23.25 and finishing at 02.05 with a duration of 100 mins. This seems to be correct. (There also appears a (GMT) indicator in front ...

Identification of subtitles

Has anyone noticed output from XMLTV GUI identifies subtitles as ONSCREEN, when I believe they should be TELETEXT.

ONSCREEN subtitles are used during foreign language films, and can't be switched off.

Any comments?? Is it a bug in the grabber??
