Re: DigiGuide problem
Ok - I've now got Config to accept all the 78 chaannels I put into DigiGuide. An interesting point aside is that I accidentally had one channel (CBBC) listed twice under different headings in DigiGuide. This stopped all others after the duplicate from being loaded by GBPVR Config. Once I'd removed t...

Re: DigiGuide problem
BINGO! Well done, Alan - you've cracked it. The channels now all load in the Config of GBPVR. I will now have to set up all the channels in DigiGuide (having destroyed my original list) and then scan the channels for real in Config before importing the actual EPG into PVR. Have a few beers to ...

Re: DigiGuide problem
I was about to add these to the list of "nogo" channels: Channel 4 plus 1 Channel 4 HD More 4 plus 1 E4 plus 1 Film 4 plus 1 five five US Five US Plus 1 FIVER FIVER Plus 1 FIVER (Freeview) Sky Three However - I just saw your post about disabling skin cache and tried it. Suddenly FIVER (Fre...

Re: DigiGuide problem
Ok - that didn't change anything I'm afraid. Incedently, carrying on with my "try another and see" approach, I've discovered that all the following cause problems: Channel 4 plus 1 More 4 plus 1 E4 plus 1 Film 4 plus 1 Notice something? Oddly though, neither ITV2 Plus 1 nor ITV3 Plus 1 cau...

Do not compute " latest version of xmltv_parse.lua", or "svn", or "compiled/lib folder".
Maybe I sounded more intelligent than I am?
Please explain.

Re: DigiGuide problem
2nd attempt at upload (zipped because XML extension is not allowed - you didn't tell me about that!) Also - I had to remove Channel 4 and S4C, because even the zipped file exceeded the allowed upload size (you didn't tell me about that either!) So this only contains Channel4+1 and Channel 4 HD, both...

Re: DigiGuide problem
I did the Upload Attachment, but it doesn't seem to be in the posted reply - have I done something wrong, or did you get it?

Re: DigiGuide problem
Ok - I used the following channels:
Channel 4
Channel 4 Plus 1
Channel 4 HD
S4C
Of these, only the first 3 appeared in GBPVR.

Re: DigiGuide problem
Ah - interesting: I added Channel 4 + 1. When I did that, the subsequently added channels gave a no-show (although Channel4+1 did show up itself). When I removed Channel4+1, the ones following it finally put in an appearance. It doesn't like Channel 4 HD either. Interestingly, when I moved Channel 4...

Re: DigiGuide problem
If it turns out that it is the file size, then I'll get on at "Sub" over at the GBPVR forum and see what he thinks.

Re: DigiGuide problem
Alan, I think you might be right about the size being too big for GBPVR! :D I replaced the Beeb 1 & 2 with their "West" equivalents and it did not stop the line up I'd started recreating so far. I've now got about 17 channels listed in GBPVR. I will continue growing the list and see wh...

Re: DigiGuide problem
Ok - what I've done is removed all channels and then started reapplying them, BBC first, then the ITV channels. So far, all of these have worked correctly. (I've shunned BBC West 1 & 2, but used ITV1 West). I'll carry on in this vein until I encounter one that stops it working. Watch this space...

Re: DigiGuide problem
I'll try and set something up. Interestingly, I tried removing the two channels I do get (BBC 1 West and BBC 2 West) and removed RT from XMLTV GUI (to keep it simple). As a result I get BBC 3, BBC 4 and BBC HD - but none of the other 60-odd channels I should be getting.

Re: DigiGuide problem
Nope - that didn't work either.
I tried uploading the XML file earlier, but the forum interface didn't seem to like the 25Mbyte file (didn't say it would upload - merely locked the file for access).

Re: DigiGuide problem
It hasn't got ITV 1 listed - it has ITV 1 West. I shall try removing that though.
