Showshifter UnMute

I was looking for something to fix my Showshifter from Muting my WAVE in Sound Control when it closes. Is this what your Un Mute is supposed to do? If so, how does it work? I extracted it to get the unmute.exe, but I don't understand how to implement it.

all you need to do to make it work is run it, but i dont know how you would get it to run when showshifter closes
