Problems with showshifter

Hello
After following theses steps i still cant not get the EPG to appear in SF
yep, if you are using version 3.10 (i highly reccomend it) then simply run my program and set up which cahnnels you want to download. close it and then open showshifter, goto showguide, click on the spanner at the top, the click on set collection times, tick the external box, set command to the path to xmltv ("c:\program files\XMLTV RadioTimes\xmltvrt.exe" and add /Grab /Silent to the end (so the complete command would be "c:\program files\XMLTV RadioTimes\xmltvrt.exe /Gab /Silent" then set the data location to where you have selected to save the listings to ("c:\program files\XMLTV RadioTimes\data.xml" by default) and click on the tick.
this is very old info because
c:\program files\XMLTV RadioTimes\xmltvrt.exe the radiotimes part doesnt appear in the dir.
I have set SF to run XMLTV GUI.exe but it just doesnt run.
All i get is failed to download new EPG.
Please help.
PS i really dont know whats gone wrong with my SF as i used to get the EPG without doing any off this

what is the exact command that you are running?

you need to add "/Grab" to the end

remove the quotes in /"grab"

still wont work
command now reads C:\Program Files\XMLTV GUI\XMLTV GUI.exe /grab
then i press test command line and error comes up

try putting quotes rounf the first part:
"C:\Program Files\XMLTV GUI\XMLTV GUI.exe" /grab

no good sorry , surely someone has got this to work with SF.
dont you have a working copy of SF to test your own program on it

no showshifter has been unavailable for over 4 years now and no longer works on current hardware. I also cant test my program with every possible tv program

if i give you my copy can you test it for me , im pretty sure your tv tuner will work with it.
i can upload showshifer for you.

dam this is really pissing me off, i dont understand why the EPG has just gone. i used to be able to install SF and the EPG would be there without setting up any 3rd party software till one day all program info went.
im stuck now
