Hi
Excellent program thank you. I have read the forum and have seen the run option for changing the amount of days grabbed.
However I am using Housebot with a TV Listing software remote to display results. The housebot software will process exported results from your program and install in an access databse. My problem is it will only link to an exe file.Any ideas how I can change the amount of days downloaded
Thanks

Well--Yes at the moment the way the device is set up the only option is to run the program.
There is an option to change number of days but it has no effect on your program. iIhave even tried changing the program name to just xmltv to see if id adds the parameter at the end.
I have asked on their forums for some aid.
Is it a lot of work to change in the program or to have the variable configurable from within?
Thanks for the swift reply earlier

i wasn't really intending making any major changes to v2 as it is stable and works for most people, i am mainly now concentrating on v3. the reason the number of days was added as a parameter was for gbpvr users who wanted to grab a different number of days at different times

Thank for the note
What are you going to implement in version3? Will it have the option to change No of days?

version 3 is a complete rewrite, the main feature will be the ability to write grabbers in lua, thereby adding support for other data sources

I have just had this reply form the Housebot Forum
HouseBot takes the number of days specified in the Device Property and adds it to the XMLTV command line as a --days X command line argument. It looks like your XMLTV replacement uses /D instead of --days, so that's why the option isn't making it to the program.
Any other thoughts
Thanks PT
