RadioTimes XMLTV feed ending on 16 June 2016

Hello,
Sad news, more details here:
https://metabroadcast.com/blog/changes-to-atlas-access
Also, despite their alleged 'commitment' to the xmltv community Atlas are changing their term and conditions so that we can only grab 24 hours at one time, so this feed is no good as a replacement for HTPC / Media Centre users.
However, they do suggest Schedules Direct, and Schedules Direct do now indeed, provide listings for countries outside the US, including the UK within their new 'JSON' feed, (subscription required of $25 per year).
http://www.schedulesdirect.org/regions
So, the question is, is their any way at all that XMLTV GUI could be updated to support the Schedules Direct JSON service?
And, as an extra additional point, what I really like with using XMLTV GUI with the RadioTimes feed is that my EPG gets populated with really good quality data in the format like this:
Marcella Season 1 episode 3 of 8
I have used multiple grabbers and feeds and can't find any other way of getting this quality of data with season X episode y of z, which is so helpful in getting to properly use the advanced scheduling options of my TV server (Argus TV).
Many thanks!
lisa
