I'm having some problems with the Digi Guide grabber. Here is what I have done so far:
Installed XMLTV GUI (and have it working well with RadioTimes data - thank you very much)
Installed DG2XML (version 1.03 - struggled to find this, none of the links I could find worked. Kept coming up with "Invalid File ID")
Copied folder into DigiGuide folder, so now in schemes, server skins, there is a folder, called "xmltv.dgscheme-web"
Activated Web Service and entered a password
Ran DG2XML with the password argument and an output folder and file name (have never seen any instructions about where to put output)
Opened XMLTV GUI, ticked UK Digi and put my password in
Hit Grab Listings and get the following message:
09:52:04 - Starting pass 1 of grabber UK_Digi
09:52:04 - Logging In
09:52:04 - Getting start date
09:52:04 - Downloading http://localhost:2402/skin-DG2XML/sid-2 ... t=
Skin 'DG2XML' is missing
&chi=0&noc=5
09:52:04 - Finished pass 1 of grabber UK_Digi
09:52:04 - 0 programs found
my digiguide trial has expired so i cant really do any testing. i think the url for using a custom skin has probably changed. if you can find the new url i can update the grabber
DGXMLTV has disappeared completely off the web. With a bit of a search I managed to find v1.03 which I'm not sure is the latest version - I'm pretty sure it isn't as it times out after grabbing only a few programs and that was apparently fixed in a 'newer version' that I just cant find.
With XMLTV GUI, I was getting the same error as below, so created a copy of the the 'xmltv' scheme called 'dg2xml'. Now the grabber runs but it's throwing a constant error along the lines of 'error calling callback in xml_to_table'. Have I installed the wrong skin for DG? Help!
are you using the latest version? if you past the exact error message i might be able to fix it. i cant test it myself as my digiguide licence has expired
I'm using DGXMLTV 1.03 which is the newest version I could find now Sage seem to have pulled it from their download section. XMLTV v3.12W. Also, I have to kill XMLTV from task manager as it simply won't stop. Screenshot:
Hello again. Quick question - XMLTV seems to ignore the 'genre' tags and also the HD, 5.1 flags and the star ratings. Are there any plans to include this in the future?
