Help to rename the channel name (remove country extension)

My XMLTV provider (Danish ontv.dk) gives the individual channel names a country extension

Example:
tv3 se (se = Sweden)
Discovery dk (dk = Denmark)
TLC no (no = Norway)

But when I do auto EPG setup in my media center, there are always problems caused by the country extension ...

Can anyone help me by writing a script that can remove the three last character (space and two letters) in each channel name "display-name"
Perhaps as an on/off option during setup ONTV

I have spent much time searching. It seems that the file does not exist in the Windows version
but I have found it in the Linux version (xmltvgui_3.14.01L.tar.gz)

It must be a mistake ....
