Italy: RAI epg

Hi, newbie here. Apologies if my questions are stupid.

I have been using GBPVR on and off for a while. I've been using XMLTV to grab an epg from the Radio Times site. I want to add Italian TV from Hotbird. I think I've found where to get the XML data for RAI 1, 2, 3, and Sport+ here:- http://tvprofil.net/xmltv/

So far so good. Now how do I set up XMLTV to grab the data from these pages? I'm an anologue engineer with very little software experience or abilty, so take it very easy please

you would need to write a new lua script to do this. see http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/wiki/in ... ng_Scripts for some documentation. the ontv script is probably a good starting point for you
